“To remember who we are, we must forget what we were told”.

They told us that life is a ladder.
You climb it — step by step —
and at the top, you’ll find happiness.
So we climbed.
We learned what they told us to learn.
We spoke the way they wanted us to speak.
We dressed in dreams that didn’t belong to us,
chased applause that never filled the silence within.
But somewhere along the way,
our hearts grew tired of pretending.
We started wondering —
what if the ladder doesn’t lead to the sky,
but only circles back to the same ground we started from?

There comes a time in every life
when learning more doesn’t help —
only unlearning does.
Unlearning is not rebellion.
It is remembering.
It’s peeling off the layers of noise
until you touch the quiet truth beneath.
It’s standing in front of the mirror
and seeing yourself — not as the world described you —
but as the soul you’ve always been.
I remember the day I stopped running.
I was standing in a crowded street —
people rushing, horns blaring,
everyone looking at their screens, chasing something unseen.
And I felt this pull —
not forward, but inward.
So I turned around.
And I walked the other way.
No map. No finish line. Just light.
With every step, the voices grew softer.
The world kept spinning,
but I — for the first time — was still.

Unlearning is not about deleting your past.
It’s about decoding it.
It’s realizing that you can’t find peace
by becoming someone else’s definition of “enough.”
It’s saying —
“I no longer need to be perfect to be worthy.”
“I no longer need to prove to be seen.”
When you unlearn fear,
you make room for faith.
When you unlearn control,
you rediscover flow.
And when you unlearn who you were told to be,
you finally meet who you truly are.
Our ancestors lived by the rhythm of the earth —
they watched stars instead of clocks,
planted seeds instead of goals.
They didn’t measure success by titles or wealth,
but by how deeply they could love,
and how freely they could breathe.
Maybe that’s what we’re all trying to return to —
a quieter way of living,
where joy isn’t achieved but remembered.
So, if you ever feel lost,
don’t rush to learn more.
Pause. Listen.
Unlearn.
Forget the noise that says you must hurry.
Forget the story that says you’re behind.
Forget the rules that were written by fear, not freedom.
Because the truth is —
you were never meant to fit in.
You were meant to wake up.
🌿 In the end, enlightenment isn’t adding light —
it’s removing the layers that dimmed your glow.
